Theres still time to contribute to the ACLAs State of the Discipline Report! Dear ACLA Members: As you move into a new term and a new year, you may enjoy taking a look at the most recent content we’ve added to the ACLA State of the Discipline Report website, stateofthediscipline.acla.org: for example, Wendy Belcher on “discursive possession” as a mode of European authorial agency in the postcolonial context, Graciela Boruszko and Steven Tötösy de Zepetnek on digital publishing and pedagogy, Nergis Ertürk on the 1920 Communist International Congress in Baku as an engagement with translation and world citizenship, Christian Moraru on the meanings associated with world, globe, and planet, and Ban Wang on aesthetics and cosmopolitanism in China and Europe. Several dozen other pieces, as well as information about Comparative Literature majors and students, are also available on the site. The website will remain open until the ACLA Convention in late March for your submissions, so if youd like to contribute, upload your piece soon. Just click on Submit an Entry at the upper right-hand corner of the home page (see also the instructions for submission). If youd rather discuss pieces already on the website, use the Comment function at the end of each essay to record your thoughts. Well keep uploading new content until early April. With best wishes for the new term and for 2015, Ali Behdad President , American Comparative Literature Association [email protected] Ursula K. Heise Managing Editor, State of the Discipline Report [email protected]
