Thermite is a pyrotechnic composition of iron rust and aluminum powder. When ignited, thermite undergoes an exothermic oxidation-reduction reaction which releases bursts of very high temperature and it will not stop until the fuel is over, burning everything around. Spangler shows a cool way to start mini thermite reactions over and over again with a pair of steel balls and a sheet of aluminum foil. Amazing idea!
