These are pictures of Petey, Boogie (a.k.a. Lady), and Snowy when they were first surrendered to us less than two weeks ago. Petey is a 15 year old male Beagle mix whose nails were practically curled into his paw pads and caused him to have a difficult time walking. Boogie/Lady is the 9 year old female Cocker Spaniel who had chronic dry eye, conjunctivitis, the WORST yeasty ear infection we have ever seen, a horrific skin infection causing large scabs and patches of missing fur, and is extremely over weight. Then there is Snowy, the 2 year old female White Shepherd who looks like a senior dog due to a severe skin infection and an untreated allergy issue to fleas and grains in dog food. These three dogs came to us in horrific conditions and are already looking a million times better than they did when they were dropped off. Despite the obvious neglect these pups have suffered all three of them are sweet as pie, get along great with all other animals, are totally house broken, and very well behaved. Our goal is to find the perfect home for each of these babies where they will never have to worry about suffering this kind of cruelty again, though it is going to take much more time and vet care to get these babies into any kind of shape to consider them adoptable.
