These hand cut and hand carved wooden benches, made from heart pine, have set in Carrolls Methodist Church for 175 years. This church, founded in 1797, remains an active house of worship entering its third century of offering a place for worship to the people of northeast Georgia. The wooden floors, installed in 1833, reflect the skill, dedication and piety of the carpenters who assembly these boards and these benches. hrcga.org/carrolls-methodist-franklin-county-3/
