These next two weeks are really powerful for me, for 4 years ago, I left a situation that was literally ruining my life. With the help of friends and strangers (now friends) I was able to start from scratch and start my life over. I lived in a strangers (now friends) spare room, I was given a job, I literally cried for two years straight, I had no confidence, I felt like a fraud, I was humiliated, I had a very distorted sense of self, but today, while walking down the street, talking to one of the best friends I have ever had, texting another, looking at the cutest nephew in the world and having just returned from vacation with the best family of friends in the world, I stopped and thanked God for one of the biggest heartaches of my life. I am living and not existing, I am a better woman, person and professional. I am in my dream job. I am healthy and safe and not scared. I am not being deceived or deceiving myself. I have a voice. Have faith, whatever you are going through, for the end is never The End. You can be a better you. You can start over and you can overcome your greatest fears. Life is beautiful. A HUGE thank you to the family of friends who literally saved my life. You know who you are. I love you.
