These past couple of days I have dreaded getting on facebook. To see the way people act in situations like these is saddening. I cant help but to hurt for everyone involved. I hurt for several reasons, losing a child, regardless of the circumstance, can never be easy. Nobody can tell you how to grieve. If getting angry is what they want to do, then who are you to judge? Is it right? Im not saying it is....but when the dust settles, they have to deal with the consequences. I hurt for the people causing this riot. Anyone who feels that this is the only way to grab someones attention, obviously has other issues. I feel sorry for their kids who now think that behaving this way is ok. I hurt because now, several people are losing their lives, businesses, homes, jobs... There are so many more reasons why Im sad, but one of the main reasons is...now, every time I get on facebook, there is a new picture or article out justifying or making fun of what went on. There is nothing funny about what has happened. People have lost lives. I dont care how many articles we can find about black vs white when white was murdered and nobody caused a riot. It doesnt matter. What are you trying to prove?? And to who???? Cut open, we all bleed the same. There is no difference in people when it comes to color. The diversity comes in how you are raised. We as people need to set an example for our younger generation. Black, white, green, blue, purple, we are ALL valuable here. Make a difference!
