These pictures were taken at the swimming hole at Rock Creek on Sunday-July 20th, one week before The French Fire started. The girls and I have hoped & prayed since the fire started that Rock Creek would be spared as we have such precious memories of this beautiful place. Mine from childhood on and theirs from the last ten years of camping there every year. We were so thrilled to see the current photos of Rock Creek today on Sierra News Online!! The photos were mostly of the campgrounds so were keeping our fingers crossed that the falls & swimming hole made it through as well. So thankful!!!! ;-)
