“They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be - TopicsExpress

“They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” Acts 16:31 (NLT) When Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, he was never the same. His days of persecuting the church were over. Yet, the disciples were very skeptical. They only knew the man that had breathed out threats against them and threw them in prison. They didn’t readily welcome him as a new brother in the Lord. What happens when God saves someone you hate? What happens when the person that caused you so much pain encounters the King of kings? The natural response is to respond with disbelief and skepticism. People change. No matter how bad they are, God is able to change their lives totally around. If you have to watch from a distance for some time, do what you must, but know that if God can change a cruel Saul into an amazing Paul, he can change your spouse, your boss, your parents, and your loved ones. Don’t write them off. No one is too hard for God to reach. Prayer: Father God, there are people in my life that seem so hard to reach, but I understand that nothing is too hard for you. You reached down low to save me, and I believe You can do the same for them. I pray they experience a life changing encounter with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
