They say that where Chanel goes, fashion follows. On Tuesday, Chanel showed his Resort 2015 collection in Dubai. For me, 2 things stood out in the show. First, Karl Lagerfeld mixed precious and costume jewelry. Most people pick one or the other to wear at a time. He mixed both together. There were lots of long chains and bangles on clothes that remind me of the Arabian Nights with thin pants under dresses. Second, most of the models wore the same bracelet on both the left and right wrists creating a mirrored effect. Expect to see this look trickle down to street fashion by next summer. Hair clips adorning big hair were on every model.
