The gentle flower does not give up when its sprouting stem meets with the hardness of earth. No, it finds hope within and pushes upward, bursting through the ground and up into the light of the nurturing sun. It drinks of the warmth and relishes the breeze, while facing outward and never looking downward at the earth again and lamenting where it came from. Let my heart flower with hope that never looks back and never looks down. Thanks be to you, God almighty.
