Things That Please God!!! Growing up in the city of Memphis, I was very fortunate to attend some great churches! Thrifthaven when I was an infant till I was around 9. Pete Steelman was pastor at the time. Moving to frayser when I was just 5, it wasnt long till we ended up at Range Hills...then on to Mt. Terrace, where Orman Norwood was pastor. From there when I was about 14 or 15 when went to Winston Dr/East Hill. All this to say.. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED to have heard some of the greatest preachers of those days!!! Ray Higginbotham, Wayne Greathouse, Eddie Champion, Brett Capaci... just to name a few...but the most influenial. Bro. Johnny Pope was preaching in 2009, when God called MY name again!!!! This morning I want to praise The Lord!!! For THE FOOLISHNESSS OF PREACHING in my life!!!! THIS PLEASES GOD!!! Im not gonna argue about the other things churches are doing this morning!!!!! BUT THANK GOD....FOR MEN OF GOD.... that still SPEND ADEQUATE time in the prayer closet....And enter the pulpit....WITH A MESSAGE FROM THE LIVING GOD.... WITH GODS HOLY GHOST UPON THEM.....and rare back and... PREACH!!!!!!!!!! IT IS WHAT PLEASES GOD!!!! AND IS WHAT SAVES SINNERS FROM A REAL HELL!!!!!!
