Things are about to get ugly!!! Lochlan had his port taken out yesterday, they put an IV in because he needs IV antibiotics. I asked that they put another port in because in the past IV have not worked for him, he just does not have good veins!! All the doctors agreed he did not need a port, all the nurses and myself disagreed!! At 5am this morning his IV had to be removed because it went bad!!! It did not even last 12 hours!!! Now we are waiting on transport nurses to come and see if they can get an IV started on him somewhere!! This is not good! And this sleep deprived mama bear is not happy!! While he was sedated yesterday during surgery, they were not able to get an IV to advance into his left arm, so they put it in his right arm. That one went bad so now they are going to have to put it in his foot, that is not going to work with a one year old who stands up and he will have 2 hands to pull at it!! Just when you think you cant handle anymore... Prayers please...
