Things are looking up . . . I got a Visual Voicemail on my cellphone from Fredericksburg Motor Sports, just after 2PM, yesterday . . . that I didnt see until 11:30 last night. My log on my phone shows no incoming call, so they must have used that app to send it . . . guess I need to find how to set up my phone to tell me when one arrives! Anyhow, they said: . . . parts on order . . . needed a new sensor, hoses and a purge valve . . . actually it needed quite a few little things . . . we grabbed some parts off another one to see if it would solve the issue and it did. The bike is idling fine, of course the parts had to go back on the other customers bike. Per BRP, we did it and sorted out all the parts needed. They were put on order earlier today. Parts can take anywhere from five to seven working days to come in and well get everything wrapped up as soon as the parts do show up . . . While I was disappointed this occured and left me stranded so far from home, and I was not able to get a loaner to get home and back, I am happy, in a way, that it did occur last Saturday. I was not on the highway or in a crowded business district, blocking traffic when it happened; they discovered other things that required replacement, meaning (I hope) there is less chance that Topper will break down on my other planned rides this summer and fall, and, maybe (just maybe) my gas mileage will improve some more!
