Thinking I had the last of my beans, I was going to pull them out today, but I came in with another meal+, so theyre still in the ground :) Also dug up one hill of my sweet potatoes (first time Ive ever planted these) and this is what I got :) I think they need a couple more weeks before digging up. Its been a fun adventure exploring different types of plants. Oh my... to add to my excitement Ive been listening to one of the cats playing around with something... I thought maybe a fly... Phoenix just dropped it in front of me... a ground mole... AHHHHH. I tried to get him to take it outside, but ended using the broom and shut the patio door :0 Time to take a break and go back to reading my book (Heart of Democracy by Parker Palmer), who I met and discussed the book with at Madison Civics Club. He is an amazing personable person. I told him his Courage to Teach was part of my summer ritual for renewal before going back to school in the fall. Ok Im breathing normal again... maybe Ill get some fall stuff to put out. Its such a beautiful afternoon; thank you God!
