At a point I decided this was something beyond the ability of human reason to grasp; that the whole idea was like something out of spiritual mysticism. Then, being a huge fan of analogies, I decided to make what is in my own mind, my consciousness, the universe we currently occupy. Im certain of whats in my mind, and as far as I can tell, thats all there is on earth. Then I look across the road at my neighbor. What is in his mind, his own consciousness, is entirely different from mine, yet just as real. Our consciousnesses are like parallel universes. Invisible to one another yet entirely real to each.
