Thinking about the moment it all went down. Sitting in my 7th grade history class. I remember the chaos and confusion amongst the teachers and students. Hoping and praying our loved ones who lived and worked so close to the crash site; the innocent people on the towers were OK. It truly felt like the world stood still. Makes me want to cry just thinking about it. I remember going home to no power and my mother crying, thanking the lord for sparing our lives. My step dad should have been in one of those towers. And had he gotten the job he so desperately wanted he would not be here today alive and serving our country. So thank you to all the brave human beings that risk your lives everyday for us. May God bless the family and friends of the people who lost their lives on that day. I am incredibly grateful for my freedom and security. Let us not forgot.
