Thirty years ago today I did a really, really smart thing and married my, still lovely, wife Lynn. Now that Lynn is retired we have come to another great part of our lives. When two people are truly partners in life and start, end and fill the day professing their true love for one another for thirty years, it makes for a wonderful and full life. Lynn is truly my complete and full partner, working side by side to make a happy and beautiful home. For thirty years we have never tired of being together. We are headed out in about an hour and a half to our absolutely favorite Italian restaurant “Capri Ristorante Italiano” in Mill Creek, WA to celebrate, what is to us, a great milestone. We ran across the restaurant many years ago when they were still located on 164th Street in Lynnwood. They later moved to Mill Creek City Center. One of the most unusual things about the restaurant is that the owner and chef is a Mexican who studied Italian culinary arts in Italy before he and his wife opened up their Italian restaurant. His wife decorated both the older and newer location with an elegant and tasteful air of Italy. The second time we went to the restaurant their beautiful daughter who was 18 at the time told us that her father was a lousy Mexican cook.
