This Christmas I think it is important to remember that we must always have hope. While many of us are safe in our homes with our families, many are not. Thousands of our countrymen are deployed across the world in defense of our great nation and we must continue to pray for them. There is a story of a Bosnian Cellist that returned to his country in the midst of the Yugoslav Civil War. Aghast at the destruction he was witness to, he would play Christmas tunes on his cello at night in order to give his countrymen hope; often while his city was being shelled. Many of you have heard of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. When they heard of this cellists story, they composed this song to remember the efforts he made and the dangers he faced.
