This THURSDAY there is a Lyme Fundraiser at UNCORKED in HERMOSA from 6:30-8:30pm. I will be there helping to raise awareness ... it can happen to anyone and early detection saves money and saves lives! Do you know what to look for? Would you know what to do? If not, come join us. More importantly, the event is to raise money for a local woman, Renee, who is suffering from late stage Lyme. Treatment has become such a heated political issue that insurance companies are using the lack of a consensus in the medical community to avoid paying for costs all together. Chronic Lyme can range from $50-100k per year (even with insurance coverage). Thus the need for fundraisers. 50% of the proceeds from wine flights go towards Renee’s treatment, as well as 10% of store sales. Also, several great bottles of wine have been donated to the Fundraiser to be raffled off. Every wine or beer tasting flight earns you one raffle ticket! Hope to see you there...
