This #TheGuradian article claims that Pakistans security forces still use redundant bomb detectors, a version introduced by the convicted British conman Jim McCormick to guard important buildings like that of Jinnah Intl Airport #KarachiAirportAttack, something that progressive world has long declared fraudulent and have replaced it updating to improved safety measures. theguardian/world/shortcuts/2014/jun/09/fake-bomb-detectors-british-conman-pakistan-karachi-airport?CMP=fb_gu The guardian article starts by putting forth this question: It is one of the worlds most obvious terrorist targets. So how did a group of 10 militants armed with guns, bomb vests, rocket-launchers and grenades get into Karachis Jinnah airport? This needs to be reinstated that militants attacking the Jinnah International Airport did not barge directly through the main entrances, where security check posts were installed, they rather barged inside the airport premises by cutting the barb wires, therefore, they couldnt undergo a security check, and could not not be held for it. >>> But, this also calls for Pakistani authorities to immediately find alternative to out-dated method of bomb detection using Jim McCormicks version of bomb detection. Whereas, this must be investigated that why #JimMcCormick version of fraudulent bomb detection was not replaced with a more efficient substitute when it was officially declared useless and fraudulent by the international community? See here: dawn/news/858184/lives-at-airport-threatened-by-bogus-bomb-detectors Apparently only Pakistan and Iraq are the only two countries in modern times who are still using inefficient bomb detectors, while they are afflicted with extreme violence, where bombs play a major role in the crisis faced by both countries. In 2010, even after McCormick had been charged with fraud, Pakistans Airport Security Force admitted to the Dawn newspaper that they were continuing to use a device of their own design that operates on the same principle. Nevertheless, McCormick and other fraudsters, such as Gary Bolton, exported thousands to clients around the world, including in #Iraq and #Pakistan. Less ambitious criminals used to sell them as golf ball detectors in the 1990s
