This afternoon my family and some friends attended a ceremony honoring organ donors and at the ceremony my brother Marc Appelbaum was honored. My brother saved peoples lives, I got to speak for about 10 minutes about him, It was the greatest honor i had in my entire life, I had several other families and their friends come up to me and tell me my speech was the best, It felt good but I would trade all of it for my brother back. I cant believe with my health and memory problems that I made a speech with few notes but talking about my amazing brother was easy. But i still expect to wake up one day and this whole thing to be a nightmare. MISS YOU everyday bro. RIP, your a hero and saved lives. If your not an organ donor, think about it. Its a great thing to do. I met an organ recepient Travis Brown, and what a great man and so thankful. He has a beautiful family and does not take anything for granted. He now volunteers for the organ network and spreads the word. He also is a hero in my eyes. Miss my brother everyday, whoever came up with the saying time heals never saw a clock,watch, or calendar. Today opened up the wounds completely again even with it honoring my brother. Never thought I would have to do this in my lifetime. I spoke about his LOYALTY, SENSE OF HUMOR, and MOSTLY ABOUT HIS LOVE FOR Jazmynn Lopez and Alexandria Salas. I even made a joke about his loyalty. My brother was most loyal person i know but when we were kids I always got blamed. I hope i made you proud bro,Diana Lopez
