Would we have had the audacity to call it legal if there existed another country with the capability to strike us with drones? Absolute power is corrupting us while we pretend to have God on our side. Drone attacks come with collateral damage. When it is one of our own, we rightfully give it all the attention a human life deserves. When not one of ours, collateral damage, cited in the evening news, conveniently erases all notion that it was someones parent or child. As a nation, we have lost our way. While I had high hopes for Mr. Obama, it has become painfully clear that he is just another run-of-the-mill hypocritical politician that will do nothing other than talk the talk. Mr. Obama, stop catering to the war machine. Earn your Nobel, and stop the drone attacks.
