This has been a GREAT marching season. This show has come from a very sketchy performance at band camp, more than a couple extremely frustrating/scary moments in some sections, to a competitive successful show at competitions, to show that is just plain fun to watch being performed. Every time I watch it being performed, I have a new “favorite moment.” We got another superior rating at the MAIS marching festival yesterday……. But, that was not the highlight. The compliments from the crowed, the smiles on their faces, the spirit choral with one of our prize members in the middle, on her last day with Hillcrest, the spontaneous dance that erupted in the band hall. The tears in the eyes of the band members eyes as they wish good luck to one of the OSOS family members as they get in their cars to go. This is good stuff. I have an awesome job! Thank you all to all of you that help make it a good experience for everyone…. You all make it possible. Thank you T.Taylor
