This info was taken from another site. It was interesting to note that the womans friend avoided potential theft of her dog because it was inside! How prudent of her! Can we please share to our NSW friends so they can take precautions. Cooks Hill Newcastle NSW 19/10/13 Saturday night sometime between 6:30 and 8:30pm someone attempted to steal our beautiful and friendly pure bred female English Staffordshire and our lovely placid Staffordshire cross Mastiff. We think it was closer to the 8:30 mark though as this is the time we got home and found two upset dogs on our verandah. The thieves went through the neighbours yard and cut the wire and bamboo on the fence that separates our yard from the neighbours. We placed a police report to which they responded by coming out and confirmed the fence wire and bamboo had indeed been cut. Our dogs are now very jumpy and following us around. We then found out this morning from friends who also have a pure bred English Staffordshire that a person entered their yard last night whilst they were both at work. Luckily there dog was inside.
