This is Caesar. Another infuriating and sad story comes with this awesomely wonderful boy. Caesar now joins our Buster ranks. His owner surrendered him yesterday after a new property owner (they are under a lease agreement from the original owner) at a condo in Canton, MI told them the dog had to go. The owner is a United States Army Staff Sargent who is active and has served three terms but now stateside. The lease this family signed remains a legal binding agreement. And the family has eight months remaining on it. They are not in violation of the said lease. They moved in with the dog that was the reason they chose that particular community and condo. How this can happen in our country to an officer of our U.S. military who has protected and served us now be denied his family pet simply because of being an American Pit Bull Terrier. Americas dog. Caesar is a stellar and regular member of a doggy daycare who consistently shown exemplary behavior and playfully gets along with all dogs in his daycare group. He was fantastic with his five year old little boy and has proven to be a true goodwill ambassador of the breed when out and about with his family. Caesars family is not in a position to wage a campaign against the property owner and tearfully surrendered him to us yesterday. Please share and help us find Caesar another worthy family. And please help support change in putting an end to BSL. Bull Shit Legislation practices no matter how it applies. Caesar and millions of other dogs are depending on us.
