This is Rey Perez a 24 yr old boxer from Sta. Rosa, Laguna whos fighting with his opponent in Mexico. I saw him at Los Angeles International Airport and as i glanced on him i knew he is from PI. We were on the same flight to San Diego because i saw him sitting on the right window side. My friends were supposed to pick me up minutes before 12mn but for some reasons they didnt show up until 1am. While waiting for them i noticed Rey waiting outside the terminal by himself. I approached him and had conversation with him only to find out that he was waiting for his promoter in Mexico to pick him up. It took us another hour and a half helping him locate these people. We even called his agent in Philippines to let them know no one was there to pick him up and leaving him there at the terminal by himself was such a pity that a lost individual might have been disappointed on his first trip to US. It was a relief when his promoter came after we informed his agent in PI. Last night was his fight in Mexico and we anticipated a win for him. Wishing he would call us today Sunday because we promised him to give him a tour around San Diego before he flies back to Philippines tomorrow, Monday here.
