This is Shelby at her first lesson today. She has been displaying this behaviour when she sees other dogs. Note that having the correct equipment makes a huge difference. A harness and flexi lead arent appropriate for a dog that pulls and lunges and flexi leads can break easily and give burns to legs. We used a martingale collar and a good strong lead. We taught Shelby to walk on a loose leash and offer focus to the handler as part of the training. Now Shelby and her owners can enjoy walks again!
