This is Timber, a one year old Tamaskan. We decided to find a new home for this beautiful dog, as we live on a farm without a fence. Timber, at times visits a very unfriendly neighbor who has threatened to have her impounded. She also has a high prey drive and is not good with chickens. Timbie is an extremely sweet and trainable dog. She is very calm inside the house and just happy to be were I am. Like all Tamaskans, she has a bit of separation anxiety. However, I am now able to leave her alone at home for a short while. Timber has not been raised with children or cats. She would do best with a dedicated dog lover, who can be at home with her. She would not do well being left alone during the day. She needs a fenced yard and someone who likes taking her out for walks or jogs and who likes working with her. Timber does better being the only dog, although she gets along with most dogs. For the right person she will make a very sweet and loyal friend who is able to make a strong bond. It is very difficult for us to give up this special girl, and we will only do so if the ideal situation presents itself. We live in Maryland.
