This is a beautiful speech encapsulating what it feels like to descend from a genocide denied by its perpetrators, Turkey, who continues to oppress and kill people based on ethnicity. For the coming hundredth anniversary, Turkey crassly moved an entire holiday to April 24th, in order to conceal the centennial anniversary of its crimes, but one cannot conceal the truth. Turkey can either genuinely apologize and teach about the Armenian, Assyrian, and Pontic Greek Genocides to redeem its humanity and right the wrongs of their ancestors, and stop actively threatening Armenian lives through economic blockades and sending in Turkish tanks last year to attack Kessab (a village formed by survivors of the first genocide), or they can continue to be caricatures of men, spiteful, and malicious, who not know justice, who strike peace with hate. For those of you who are ignorant of WWIs dirty secret, I suggest you read this: unitedhumanrights.org/genocide/armenian_genocide.htm
