This is a continuation of a post yesterday about 80s television show intro music being better: 80s television shows were just better in general; the were much more imaginative. All our shows now are crime dramas, or reality shows. Back then, you had shows about stunt men that were also bounty hunters (Fall Guy), ex special forces soldiers that work as mercenaries (A-Team), high tech top secret helicopters that were based out of a volcano (Air Wolf), a car with artificial intelligence (Knight Rider), a Dystopian future where television networks ruled us (Max Headroom) and two dudes (one that always wears a cowboy hat) kicking ass as detectives in San Diego (Simon and Simon). You just dont get that kind of imagination in our television shows anymore. You get CSI in three different cities, CSI in two different cities in the military (NCIS), and American Idol.
