This is a finished sleeping mat that I have crocheted out of plastic bags. The small group I belong to make these sleeping mats for the homeless in Windsor and London. I am asking all my family and friends to please save me their milk bags, shopping bags (from walmart, Giant Tiger etc...), also frozen veggie bags, perogie bags etc... We cut these into strips and join them together and then crochet these mats. The mats from the Windsor area are going to Street Help/Unit 7. Thank you for any and all help with this worthy cause. These mats will create a bit of comfort and warmth to the homeless on a cold winters night.
