This is a fun memory for a few reasons. Its now been over a year ago James Yoshizawa joined the group and we had (I think) our first official show with him at a cool little house venue in Orange County called #HosonHouse. Still one of the most intimate, fully acoustic moments weve ever had, despite me botching the head like a chump! Also, from what I remember its the first gig I played with my new tenor (a 46xxx Selmer SBA tenor for the sax nuts). On a funny note, I even managed to rip off a Ben Wendel lick that I heard at a show before this at the #BlueWhale, which of course ended up as an intro to one of his tunes. Hah!
