This is a great day. Just notified by my publisher that they received the following communication from Amazon. Yes!!!!!! All thanks to government Minister Richard Brutons representations on behalf of all authors selling books via Amazon in Ireland. Thank you. We wanted to let you know that starting 26 June 2014 applicable sales to customers in Ireland and Gibraltar will now qualify for the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) 70% royalty rate, rather than the previous 35% rate available. There is nothing you need to do to receive this higher royalty rate - you will now simply earn more from your sales to customers in these countries.
