This is a little rough, but sometimes you need to face facts. Politics should not try to be a land grab to try and jam your ideology down peoples throats. It should be when people try to better the rest of us. Some republican ideas are good. But some are evil and scary beyond belief. Some democratic ideas are good. But some are stupid beyond belief. Who do we have to talk to to get the good republican and democratic ideas out there and burn the fear and stupidity like books during the Nazi reign? Kids need educations. Veterans need help with assimilating back into the world and medical treatment for broken bodies and broken minds. The elderly need to be cared for, not cut adrift. The poor should be helped by the rich. Religions need to include people not cast them out. Christians, Islamic and Jewish need to get along instead of saying were number one like they are college football teams. Diversity should be celebrated. I was taught the adage, make the world a better place when you leave it than it was when you got here. Too many people are too selfish to do that and that is why this country is failing. Im getting off my soapbox now.
