This is a message to Time Warner Cable technician 4064 and the customer relations department at TWC. my mom has been a good paying customer of yours for years. We have tried (myself included on their behalf) to make payment and get their bill squared away. Why you wouldnt accept a payment by phone is unclear to me. The money was in there. Here is why I am angry beyond belief. After trying to make a payment by phone, why did you send 4064 to either disconnect or get cash? My mother was told if she didnt pay in cash right then, BAM! Disconnect. The tech followed my mother (who doesnt drive because of dementia) to the bank. He followed her into the bank. Then stood with her at the teller and further humiliated her at her bank where shes done business for 30 years by loudly insinuating the money wasnt there and the check no good! He then only collected half the amount due and told her hed leave her services alone. She put the rest of the withdraw back for the outstanding tw check to clear. Collection efforts continued over $168 and she was told that because of this one mix up (equally their fault) they wouldnt accept any other payment but cash or credit card. I am appalled by the unprofessional manner of this agent. My mother will never, ever be asked to leave her property to get cash to satisfy something this petty again. Im patiently awaiting a call from the supervisor now so something can be done. Thank you, Facebook for allowing me audience with 1500+ users to share this experience.
