This is a public service announcement to my friends with pets: If you are like me and try to save money on pet food and buy Everpet brand pet food for your animals, I beg you to please stop! Weve been using it for 3 1/2 years and never had a problem with it until recently. I started noticing Macho looking skinny. Mittens and Boots have always been slim but they were looking skinnier than normal. It was so gradual that I didnt really think much of it until my mom came over and mentioned it. Then I really thought about it and that explained why the cats were pestering for food and why they were all looking thinner. We always made sure they had food but they were begging for people food. So right away we changed their food. We got them Purina cat chow for indoor cats. They devoured it and within one week their bodies filled out. So that means that Everpet must have changed their formula and my cats werent getting the nutrition they needed. They love the Purina and are not begging anymore. I believe that if we had continued giving them Everpet they wouldve gotten weak and sickly. Dont buy Everpet just to save money because itll end up costing you your pet.
