This is a tough one but many of you should know I did decide to withdraw from the campaign. If I was elected I would have to resign from my job at the community tv station. I knew that going in and wasnt going to run. But for some reason in the last few days I decided to run anyway. I think my ambition took over my rational thinking. Well the rational thinking returned and Im no longer comfortable with that huge risk. Job thing aside Ive also reaized its not a good time to run for office being a single Dad with two little ones. Not for me anyway. I think I should be on more solid ground for their sake too.. In fact Im unloading other things on my plate so I can have more focus on things at home and at the station.. So thats the word. I deserve any crap I get here. I should have stayed out in the first place. Perhaps another time. Thank you for your support these last few weeks. It did mean a lot to see that. Keep the support going for others. There are some good candidates so Hastings will be just fine. Of course they wont be as funny but who is really..
