This is about all of us, because to them, we are all expendable. It is about exposing them as widely as possible: exposing what they did, and why they did it. It is about reaching out to the people and demonstrating the nature of those who purport to represent the public, but who only represent themselves and their paymasters. It is a serious initiative, which will be extended to others. These three men were at the centre of a scandal which the media will never report. A scandal which was perpetrated in our names. It is also about sending a very clear message: that we, the people, are prepared to confront them, that we are prepared to unite, and that we are prepared to stand by each other despite the entire machinery of state which they have at their disposal. Schapelle Corby represents a window: a window the people can see through to learn what the establishment are prepared to do to an innocent citizen, to see how little they value our lives, to see what they are. Her case has already opened countless eyes to this reality. As an individual, Schapelle’s own human rights continue to be breached, as she is still illegally gagged. The Australian media is still vilifying her and her family with terrible lies and smears. The proven truth is still completely censored. Even this week the AFP is using a secret payment of taxpayer money to buy off Channel 7 for its armed intimidatory raids of February. There is no prospect of justice through the Australian establishment. There is no prospect of them stopping the persecution of an innocent person, to keep their squalid little secret from the public. There is no prospect of peace for Schapelle Corby or her family. As normal decent people, as human beings, there is therefore little alternative but to seek new routes to breakthrough this barrier of self-interest and appalling corruption. In the interests of Schapelle Corby, and in the interests of the people. The message to Canberra is clear: there is no place to hide for those who breach our human rights.
