This is actually one of my favorite books in the series what with the exploration of the J designation and the great pairing of Max & Sophia, not to mention a new view of Nikita and an interesting glimpse of another side of Kaleb at the end. As a matter of fact, on my NOOK, my gushing review as romance mistress is the first one that pops up. Along with Caressed by Ice, its one of my go-to re-reads when I need a Psy/Changeling fix. Best reads of the year thus far: Nalinis Shield of Winter because she did us proud with Vasics story, one weve waited for breathlessly; Patricia Briggs Night Broken because any visit with Mercy, Adam & and the gang is always butt-kicking fun; Jessica Scotts All for You because her military romances are second to none; Katy Regnerys The Vixen & the Vet because this sort of Beauty & the Beast story was just something I stumbled across, and, boy, am I glad to have found this swooningly romantic story; Roxie Riveras Nikolai 2 because we waited...and waited...and got a book that shows us the uneasy pairing of a great love and the terrible violence of the Russian mafia. Geez, this is just a few, but all great. Now just waiting for Ashwini & Javier...because the foreplay for this couple has been a sloooooow buildup to something, hopefully, explosive!
