This is an early morning free write: not really, because there is intention here. I am recruiting a staff to help move my project and career forward. Let me say first that of all of the poets in Faytteville NC and of all those who have traveled to be here and of all that I have learned from people like Maurice Gillespie and Tellem Iam and Val Jones and Yolanda A. Barnes Robin Mills and Dasan Ahanu and Neil Donnell Rayand Mesha McGregor Breeze Ilifethis ThePoet and Krosswords and so many so many more I have learned one thing for absolutely sure. They are all different so their is no reason for me to worry about being different. Any way my business philosophy is to be completely open about business transactions and credit for material and intent. There are some disadvantages, but over all it reduces chance of mis-communication and deception. For I guess two years now I have paid for bands and features and events out of my pocket and socializing in the poetry community and it along with other things have put me outside of good financial balance. I have a plan of how I am going to fix that problem so that I can move forward with more poetry events and gatherings and do it better. I have product that is designed for mass appeal. I think the product is Fire as I said before. This is not about buying a Cd to support me as a struggling poet. This is about paying for a great experience. It is not about art work it is about the words and the music that helps create the mood. I need a website and a street team and graphic art people. I am recruiting a team. There is no money. My team will be paid out of money that we make and I plan on making plenty. I will be at coffee scene tonight (Monday 28 October) about 8 outside for a recruiting meeting for my team anyone interested please attend.
