This is an excellent argument for the very real need to put an end to separate but unequal education. To address this problem in America, we may also need to discuss the fact that we have approximately 106 historically Black colleges. Columbia University ensures that none of their enrollees are required to take loans. Columbias enrollment is 39% White, 31% Asian, 12% African American. Berkley recently found money to fund the enrollment of students who are undocumented...looks like UCLA is long overdue to begin to level the playing field.
