This is awesome: I think Werner Ehard sock-puppetted a bad review of Invisible Bridge (for the record, the account of the est seminar in the book comes from a very, very, very fawning 1976 book on est). a ground of being of intense love and support By Howard Schumannon August 11, 2014 Format: Hardcover I have not read the entire book so I will only comment on the five pages that I have read. The section describing the est training and Werner Erhard is a tissue of lies and distortions form someone who has apparently received his information from second and third-hand sources. Material is taken out of the context of a 60-hour experience and made to appear derogatory and oppressive. Not mentioned is the fact that trainees were always given an opportunity to leave on the second day but very few ever did. I think it was obvious even on the first day that the training was going to be the most valuable thing they had ever done. The truth is that Werner Erhard was responsible for improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of people including my own and that of my family. Even when Werner was telling you an uncomfortable truth about yourself in a powerful and direct manner, he never sacrificed where he was coming from, a ground of being of intense love and support. His message was clear, sharp, and direct- free of dogma, ritual, or psychological mumbo-jumbo. He challenged people to transform our life, not step-by-step over a period of years as in a psychiatrist’s office, but right now. The fact that his programs are still being offered, forty three years after they began is a testament to their enduring quality and the results they have produced in peoples lives.
