This is for the Yall aint gonna believe this file. I mounted my 65 A100 pickup on a rotisserie a few weeks ago, ok a month ago. After numerous distractions I was able to work on it yesterday. The bed floor was beaten down above the rear axle and just in front of the tail gate in places up to 3/4of an inch. The problem was how to raise this area. My buddy Jim said to use a Porta power on it. With the A almost 3 ft off the floor it made it fairly easy to get under it and with extensions I could jack up the floor. The only problem was getting this tired old body out and back up again to hammer the dents. I must have been up and down 30 times in 3 hours. But after it all the floor although not perfect is a lot closer to being level than it has been in years. With some help on top with a hammer I can stay under the truck to man the jack. The Porta Power Im using was owned by good friend Gordon Maney who passed away this year. I thought of him as I was using the tool working safely as he so often asked if I was working safely. We in the Power Wagon family miss Gordon , his knowledge and friendship.
