This is going to seem like an odd post coming from me but it has been weighing heavy on my mind. What is the definition of a mother??? The noun is a woman in relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth. And the verb is bring up (a child) with care and affection. These were the dictionary definitions. Here is one I copied from another mommy - MY definition of a mommy is someone who loves unconditionally and places the needs of her children above her own, on a personal level, and not only with words, but also actions. Anyone who is able to give birth can be a mother, but not everyone is a mommy. I see myself both as a mother and a mommy to all 5 of my kids. This has nothing to do with adoption, because I have a lot of respect for those mothers! Anyway I was just deep thinking and love my kids to the moon and back!! I would like to say thank you to Vanessa as she is my boys stepmom and they didnt get the short end of the stick there! I know some kids that got the short end of the stick and it stinks. Anyway thanks for listening to my ramblings lol. P.S. Justin was out of school almost the whole week with strep throat and is returning tomorrow. - had to throw a J update in there somewhere :) feeling lucky and blessed to have 5 kids to call me mommy xoxo
