This is happening tomorrow, September 18th at the armory Square in Park Rapids. The Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee will be stopping on their tour of potential state bonding projects located in northwest Minnesota over a three day period. They are scheduled to arrive by bus at approximately 9:15 AM, and plan to depart ½ hour later at 9:45 AM. However, they may arrive early, so we are asking everyone to be on hand at 8:50 AM. Coffee, water, juice, pastries, fruit and yogurt will be available. During their half hour visit, we have 8 speakers who will present our project, the Upper Mississippi Center for the Arts, followed by a quick tour of the proposed facility. Many of our local arts organizations are participating in this presentation in a variety of ways. Your attendance and support would be most appreciated. We would like a strong turnout to help us demonstrate support for this project. While much work remains to be done, and many questions answered, this is a vital step in the process.
