This is just a complaint post about my new traeger. Bought the Lil tex smoked on it first time Saturday with a 8 1/2 pound pork butt. Fire went out 3 times 31° outside no wind. Changed my p setting that comes factory set at P2. Did the shut down as in the manual which I followed to a t after every time fire went out. Then traeger tells me I must have been doing something wrong. I asked them what they were going to do about my smoker and about the $30 worth of meat that was pretty much ruined. Not really I saved it. Lol. They told me they wouldnt do anything. I was a smartass to the guy after that and said oh is my gift for trouble from traeger just to be able to tell everyone hey I own a traeger. Lol this is not a post for everyone to show me what I should have bought or tell me or show me what they got. Im sure your smoker is the best. Lol I will just use my stick burner maybe to smoke my new traeger. Thank you for all my fellow smokers that took the time to read my tantrum. Im a stick burner 4 life now.
