This is must read as follow-up to the Kobani strategic vacuum and lack of consideration by CENTCOM & USAF to target IS Daesh positions currently encircling Kobani. This may also be put in perspective wrt Turkish vs Kurds interests and of course Assad, Iran, Qatar & Russia. Which is to say that the BHO admin policy has to be addressed not only in terms of half-baked military strategy effectiveness (air strikes alone wont do the job as we all know, they may merely degrade IS Daesh but wont change the strategic picture, as only that can be achieved by boots on the ground, itself not a panacea without a political solution and a fundamental cleansing of IslamoNazi doctrine) but in terms of whose regional powers and ultimate strategic interests it propels, and whose it undermines.
