This is my 99 Dakota, 3.9L. Runs and idles great, gets decent gas mileage, but Im curious. The IAC valve is normally inside the hose between the air filter and the throttle body correct? The truck had this cold air intake on it when I got it from my wifes uncle. The holes that were in the pipe for sensors have been sealed off so they dont leak, but theres no sensor anywhere in it. No check engine light, no rough or slow idle. Did this truck not come with an IAC valve, or are they not necessary?
