This is my most recent completed custom, a Transformers Masterpiece (MP-10) OPTIMUS PRIME. This is one of the few commissions that I will show publicly.... but this one was unique and favorite I have done. This figure features a host of numerous modifications and upgrades. This figure includes the following upgrades: - KFC fully articulated hands and new rifle with high intensity LED. - High Intensity BLUE LED in head - High Intensity flickering ORANGE LED in Matrix Chamber The wheel covers were also removed for the traditional G1 look. Along with the above mentioned upgrades the figure was fully disassembled, cleaned, degreased, then base coated with a custom mixture of flat metallic red and blue paint. as well as ultra flat black on the robotic parts which was followed by a series of multiple dry brush layers of varying grays and silvers. All of the fine details were painted with high quality lacquers and enamel paints. I enjoyed working on this figure and I hope everyone enjoys him! This figure also features a one of a kind Customs By Z exclusive for this and several upcoming figures. What that is, much like in my most recent Ultra Magnus, is a completely customizable printed circuit board (PCB) that will play a series of audio clips and have synchronized lights to those clips. Those audio clips will be housed on a micro SD card that is also removable. The board also has a rechargeable battery, that short of user error, will NEVER have to be replaced. It charges with a routine USB cable. This figure is the first custom figure to feature this new, and unique, feature! I hope all like him!!
