This is my view regarding Tengku Adnans statement within his capacity as the Federal Territories Minister. His intention/objective is to clean up Kuala Lumpur, specifically from all the homeless & vagrants (either within 2km radius or what not) and generally to make Kuala Lumpur a vibrant, well organized, clean & safe city is a positive move. Yes we get that. I get that. But the way/process/plan that he will be using to execute it somehow rather not applicable to curb down this issue. There are cities which imposed a ban on providing meals to the homeless in public. I dont have the statistics & numbers but I can utterly asure you that before they (the government) imposed that, all other resources and agencies have already well equipt and up to help them (the homeless). You (government) should strenghten all of your agencies, deploy all of your resources in helping the homeless before hand. Thus you can implement related rules that you may find suitable. And be transparent with all of your expenses. We (the rakyat) are not stupid, bear that in mind. Mr Minister, please dont banned NGO(s) just because they are feeding the homeless within the vicinity. Not right now when the prices of all imaginable things went up. Nobody wants to be homeless, trust me they dont want to be homeless if they were given a choice. But it is just merely they were unlucky enough to be born & live in such way like we do (holding a 2K smartphone). You are tackling this issue, but ultimately you are pushing it away just for a brief moment & it will make way for other unforeseen issues to rise up. For the sake of our people. Please reconsider your move. Not right now. - Z
